About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Support Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV.

One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced AV Support Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall service delivery and technical support of all installed systems
  • 1st & 2nd line technical support for onsite audio visual systems
  • Fault triage, identification and implement work arounds where possible
  • Support of IPTV system i.e. hardware and firmware updates - content will be managed by internal teams

  • Coordination and management incidents / tickets via inhouse ticketing system

  • Ensure all tickets are tracked in real time

  • Develop site documentation for fault triage and escalations through to proAV helpdesk

  • Coordinate and manage repairs via proAV helpdesk teams

  • Coordination and ownership of software / firmware upgrades / processes via Change Control process

  • Manage critical spares stock report for site

  • Implement / manage PMV plans

  • Identify 3rd parties service providers, i.e. Facilities, M&E, IT etc. and formalise support models across the groups

  • Create monthly MI reports where required

  • Manage proAV onsite service deliverables

  • Proactively train and support end users where required

  • Assist with the setting up and supporting of presentations / conferences across the estate

  • Provide white glove / meet and greet service for meeting rooms as required

  • Oversee, support & manage Events VIP meetings (local & hybrid)

  • Generate daily reports and contact VIP clients to establish full nature of meeting and event requirements

  • Daily checks / ad-hoc testing across all event and meeting room spaces

  • Liaise with and Manage 3rd party suppliers

  • Be fully competent in digital AV environments. IT literate, understand network architecture and structured cable infrastructures.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to strict deadlines

  • Remain client facing and calm under pressure at all times
