About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV and working onsite for a key client account.

One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report into client on-site team / IT teams on a daily basis and agree daily tasks / activities/ priorities;
  • Provide real time in room support.
  • Service & Process development.
  • Provide a Meet & Greet service as required to assist all VIP Meetings and for clients who require a technician to help connect audio and video conferencing calls.
  • Proactively train and support end users.
  • Fault handling and tracking of all AV fault related tickets raised via clients ticketing system through to resolution.
  • Track and manage all AV requests received via clients room booking systems as well as the proposed dedicated AV Phone & Email,
  • Troubleshoot AV and UC / VC related technology issues (control systems, switching, audio and screens) to complete resolution when issues occur.
  • Provide break/fix, moves/add/change services as required.
  • Ensure all equipment faults and requests are reported via the onsite procedures.
  • Provide Event support / equipment Co-ordination as required.
  • Supervise meetings / Events as required.
  • Generate daily reports and contact VIP clients to establish full nature of meeting & requirements.
  • Test, check and ensure equipment is in operable condition prior to any meeting or presentation Complete Daily room checks / ad hoc testing.

  • Equipment / Meeting room set ups as required.
  • Setup, testing, operation, and break down of audio visual and video conference equipment; (e.g. video data projection systems, audio and video conference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems, and operation of integrated AV systems).
  • Be fully competent with the use of end user Audio Visual & Videoconferencing equipment.
  • Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on Audio Visual equipment, connectivity and applications where appropriate.
  • Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a first /second line basis and provide a work around, if problem is critical.
  • Liaise with and Manage 3rd party suppliers as required.
