About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Sales Support & Business Development Administrator to be a key part of our Dublin team, representing proAV, taking full responsibility for providing administrative, operational, and strategic support, working collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Sales Support & Business Development Administrator to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a competitive advantage and support strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate effectively with vendors and suppliers to ensure alignment with delivery schedules and service standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and logistics team to ensure a timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Provide administrative support to account managers, enabling efficient account management and client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with warehouse teams, finance, and project teams to ensure monthly payment applications are issued and certified.
  • Handle inbound sales and operational enquiries via phone and email, including screening and responding to communications professionally.
  • Assist in the creation and management of sales orders, returns and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales processes and administrative operations.
  • Ensure that all client requirements are dealt with or escalated appropriately to meet established goals and business objectives.
  • Design and format professional PowerPoint presentations to support sales initiatives.
  • Develop, manage and maintain Excel spreadsheets for data analysis, reporting and forecasting.
  • Preparation and coordinate internal handovers to ensure seamless communication between departments.
  • Assist the Sales team with preparation, distribution and follow-up of client quotations, proposals, presentations and sales documentation.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance in all client interactions and internal processes.
  • Support business development efforts by conducting lead research, executing targeted campaigns and presenting insights to the team on potential clients, markets and competitors.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems and internal databases to ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities and client communications.
  • Assist in new business acquisition activities, including onboarding processes, ensuring documentation is collected, verified and processed efficiently.
 

Personnel requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative, sales support or business development support role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focussed approach.

  • A proactive and solutions-orientated mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Attention to detail for order management, reporting, and supporting sales processes.
 

Hours of work

40 hours per week, 9 hours a day, 8.30am-5.30pm, including an hour unpaid break, Monday-Friday.
