About The Role

Role Overview

Join proAV, a leading global workplace technology integrator, as our Sustainability Graduate. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity for a postgraduate applicant to develop and shape our ESG and sustainability strategies on a global scale. You will be responsible for comprehensive reporting, aligning with ESG, Scope 1, 2, and 3, and ensuring compliance with the BSI 14001 Standard. Working alongside other departments in the business, you will set objectives, monitor progress, and report on key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • ESG & Sustainability Strategy: Craft and implement a dynamic ESG and sustainability strategy that resonates with our corporate ethos, addressing global standards and investor expectations.
  • ESG and Sustainability reporting (including Scope 1, 2 and 3 reporting): Produce annual reports in line with regulations, global frameworks, and investor requirements. Manage the gathering and analysis of environmental impact data, showcasing our progress and commitments.
  • BSI 14001 Standard Management: Oversee the enhancement of our Environmental Management System (EMS), maintaining its certification.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships across various levels, including employees, clients, and industry partners, to foster a collaborative approach to ESG and sustainability. Develop and maintain community partnerships, focusing on philanthropy, volunteer efforts, and local projects.
  • Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers to advance sustainable practices, ethical sourcing, and responsible production, with measurable improvements.
  • Ethical Practices: Uphold and promote ethical operations encompassing fair labour practices, diversity, and anti-corruption policies.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, integrating them into our practices for continuous improvement.
  • Glidepath to Net-Zeo: Develop a clear transition program with recognized milestones and certifications, such as EcoVadis and SBTI.
 

Requirements

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in ESG, sustainability, business, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred, with special consideration for recent postgraduate applicants.
  • ESG Exposure: Exposure to ESG & Sustainability, preferably in the workplace technology sector. Familiarity with ESG reporting, Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, and BSI 14001 management.
  • Communication and Leadership: Strong skills in communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
  • Analytical Thinking: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Commitment to Sustainability: A dedicated focus on promoting social responsibility and sustainability as key drivers of positive change. A strong desire to contribute significantly to proAV’s ESG ambitions.

  • Strategy Development: Insight into sustainability management and strategic planning.
