About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for a Junior AV Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV working onsite.

One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, Junior AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on Audio Visual equipment, connectivity and applications where appropriate
  • Conduct daily morning meeting room testing of all technologies deployed
  • Set up & support meetings & conferences as required
  • Fault handling and tracking of all AV fault related tickets raised via ticketing system and monitor though the life cycle to conclusion.
  • Track and manage all AV requests received via dedicated AV Phone & Email
  • Provide 1st line troubleshooting of any AV system failures
  • Experience and good understanding of all technologies deployed
  • Setup, testing, operation, and break down of audio visual and video conference equipment as required
  • Event Support – preparation / rehearsals / Co-ordination of rental equipment
  • Manage proAV onsite service deliverables working in conjunction with proAV help desk teams
  • Inventory management of consumables & stock holding of on-site critical spares

 

Desirable skills

  • Minimum of two years corporate experience
  • Knowledge in meeting room audio and video conference systems

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to strict deadlines

  • Remain client facing and calm under pressure at all times

  • Have excellent communication, time management, presentation and organisational skills

  • Be enthusiastic and self-motivated

  • Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels

  • Ability to use own initiative appropriately

  • Knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and technologies
  • Customer focused and strong ability to deal with individuals on all levels in a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner
