About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV and working onsite.  

One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • To advise and report on the service delivery to the proAV team leader and/or client’s management team. 
  • To ensure all associated activities that comprise the AV service are delivered seamlessly and with maximum efficiency.
  • To ensure services are delivered in line with client policies (CSR/environmental/security) and strategies.
  • To be a point of escalation through to the proAV team leader.
  • To work with proAV technical teams to provide accurate technical advice when required.
  • Coordination of software/firmware upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to AV/VC users.
  • Supporting video conference calls including liaising with remote offices in respect to the setup and running of video conference calls.
  • To ensure users are trained in the operation of AV/VC technologies deployed to the client site.
  • To identify and evaluate gaps in how the client uses the technology and make appropriate recommendations to the client for any future changes that would provide further benefits.
  • To monitor the quality of the services delivered via the technology deployed.
  • To assist/manage with all ads/moves/changes (small works) onsite.
  • To undertake manufacturer training courses as appropriate to ensure knowledge base is maintained.
  • To ensure any changes are implemented seamlessly as per the agreed requirement and with minimal impact on the business.
  • To ensure all break-fix activities are carried out under the contracted terms and within the agreed SLA’s.
  • To arrange all preventative maintenance activities and produce via proAV helpdesk the appropriate reports detailing works carried out and any key activities/concerns that may require further attendance/consideration.
  • Liaise with and manage 3rd party suppliers.
  • Manage consumables and stock holding of onsite spares.
  • Manage meet & greet service as required to assist all meetings that require AV/VC technician support.
