About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Audio & Visual Technician to be a key part of our Hungary team, representing proAV and working onsite, taking full responsibility for assisting in conducting all functions in relation to:

- Ensuring that assigned customers receive fast and efficient technical support for AV and video conferencing solutions.

- Contact person for the management and employees of the IT departments for coordination and reporting.

One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Audio & Visual Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accepting support requests by phone/email, ticket system, opening cases, determining all necessary information to understand the case, processing assigned service tickets.
  • Triage/Root Cause Analysis.

  • Implementation of measures for the analysis and resolution of incidents remotely and on site.

  • Ordering parts/issuing RMAs.

  • Troubleshooting, documentation and problem solving for contract customers.

  • Carrying out suitable troubleshooting measures together with the customer.

  • Procurement of required (spare) parts and consumables.

  • Supporting users of the assigned clients with the operating systems/equipment in the room.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis including but not limited to: Testing/repairing cables and various hardware components.

  • Timely and qualityconscious support for meetings and installation of connections.

  • Onsite installation of control programmes (AMX / Crestron/ Firmware).

  • Upload and download capability.

  • Onsite support of control programmes (AMX / Crestron/etc.).

  • Minor changes (if necessary with the help of a programmer), compiling, upload and download capability.

  • Tracking/updating of progress, escalation to downstream support units or the Service Delivery Manager if necessary.
  • User support and administration for webcasts and online events (e.g. Microsoft Teams Live Events)”.
